How long have you been in business?
Image Concepts is celebrating it's 16th anniversary. Image Concepts opened for business in January of 1999.
What is your primary product or service?
Image Concepts is a full service printer with digital and traditional printing equipment. Our newest equipment is a large format press and Digital Die Cutter. This press is photo quality and enables us to print directly onto foam core, PVC, Glass, Acrylic, Metal, Roll Vinyl, etc. all in photo quality as this press is the highest resolution machine in the world. The size is huge as we can print 98"x 200'. The Digital Die Cutter allows us to cut shapes out of the prints for example rounding corners, cutting a circle, or even creating a star are all possible and the minimum quantity is one.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was hired right out of college into a large printing company by the name of Moore Business Forms. Moore at the time was the largest company of it's kind in the world. I worked as a sales representative in training and spent the first two years working with very talented tenured sales representatives in their territories. This gave me a great idea of what print was all about and how to navigate a very large corporation to get what your customers need accomplished. During my time at Moore I was promoted to the district manager level and although I enjoyed the people that I worked with decided management was not for me. This is the point where I figured out that I needed to create my own company. From this point I found a partner who was a coworker at Moore and we began the process of choosing the correct business and location. This process took just short of a year and we opened in January of 1999. At the time there was a market need for a printer to focus on small order quantity in full color work. Many large printers were neglecting this part of the business so we set ourselves up to handle this work, super fast with all the quality and care that customers were accustomed to with larger more expensive orders.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Image Concepts differentiator is the service we provide. Our people truly understand our customers needs and in many cases can suggest or even correct a customers order . I can't tell you how many times we have found an error in a job, fixed it and it went out on time with no extra expense. In a nutshell we "do what we said we would do". Plus we always have the latest print technology with an aggressive purchase program in place.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Image Concepts has one location in Valley View Ohio. This is the only location and we have no plans to open a second location. The way the business is today we can effectively manage business Nationally from this location.

Image Concepts accepts Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover Cards. Regular customers are extended terms.
