Services for people with special communication needs
Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center serves children and adults who have difficulty communicating in any manner(hearing, speaking, reading, writing). We provide speech-language pathology services to children who are just developing communication skills and to adults who have acquired communication difficulties. Audiologists complete comprehensive tests of hearing for infants through adults. Our sign language interpreters provide services throughout the community to people who are deaf and need interpreting services. The Regional Infant Hearing Program provides free educational and support services to families with children (birth to 3) who are deaf or hard of hearing. We also have a pediatric neuropsychologist who provides a extensive evaluation of cognitive-linguistic skills.
