How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I am the 3rd generation owner of the family firm founded by my grandfather over 100 years ago. I graduated from Hiram College in 1979 with a double major in Science (Botany) and Religion, a perfect match considering I work with that which only God can make.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Over 100 years preserving the 'forest' in the 'Forest City.' long tradition of leadership involvement in the tree care industry. Most recently, served as President of the International Society of Arboriculture, with over 22,000 members worldwide.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location in Mayfield Village. We moved here in 2014 after having been in South Euclid for nearly 100 years. My grandfather moved the business from Cleveland to South Euclid in 1918.
