How long have you been in business?
The business was started in 1996 by the Founder and current CEO/Partner. Company and was incorporated as Profit Or Savings Enterprise, LLC in 1998. We moved into our current business building @ 4761 Tiedeman Road in Cleveland in August 2001
What is your primary product or service?
We are a Management Services firm for small-to-medium size businesses. We specialize in freight-&-purchasing (supply-chain) management activities . We help our clients to bring "profit or savings" to the bottom-line. We get paid with a commission on the "profit or savings" that we bring to our client. We provide monthly documentation/reports to confirm the savings generated thru our programs. We do not get paid unless we save you money. There are no project or retainer or monthly fees, except for our Training division,
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
The Founder/Partner has over 30 years experience as a Corporate Director of Freight Transportation for 2 large corporations based in the Cleveland area. He has also been affiliated with Cuyahoga Community College on their Evening Faculty since 1975, teaching courses in Freight, Purchasing, Negotiations and Logistics.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a management services firm specializing in all aspects of freight transportation, including, but not limited to: carrier negotiations, monitoring programs, routing of shipments, scheduling and procedures, efficiency projects, packaging improvements, cost control measures, supplier relationships, just to name a few. With our Purchasing background and education resources, we can bring more power to our business services program. We also bring expertise and powerful contacts or resources in all modes of freight transport covering both Domestic as-well-as International. Since 2004, we have been providing a "Fulfillment" service (Pick-Pack-Ship) for small businesses. We also have a Training division that will go to your company location and train employees in the specialized areas or topics you select from our list. We do not, however, pay freight bills nor do we provide auditing services that are normally associated with a freight "traffic" audit/pay company.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
our main office and operation complex is @ 4761 Tiedeman Road in Cleveland. we will, however, establish remote operation centers as needed for our client base.

our business building is approximately 500 feet NORTH of I-480 on Tiedeman Road across from the Plain Dealer printing plant.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept checks or electronic transfers. we submit an invoice with back-up reports to our clients detailing the commission/share of profits or savings that we generate with our management services programs. There are NO monthly fees or retainers. We do charge an hourly rate for our Training division services and for any contractual consulting projects,
Which areas do you service?
We will service any small-to-medium business that ships-or-receives "freight" of small packages (SPS), Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), Truckload (TL), Expedited & Specialized Equipment, Air Cargo, for BOTH domestic and international. We provide Fulfillment Services for small companies that need their products stored, and then PPS'd (Pick Packed Shipped) to customers. We also have resources and contacts for Intermodal and Rail.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
PO$E became a Partnership in 2015 formed with J V (Joe) Shannon (Founder/CEO) and Martin Huberty, the COO/Partner. Mr. Shannon is well recognized for his expertise and knowledge in freight transportation and for his years of teaching at Cuyahoga Community College as-well-as a speaker for many organizations both locally & nationally. Mr. Huberty brings an extensive background for distribution, call centers, computer systems and programming, as well as extensive e-commerce experience.
What are your hours of operation?
normal business hours are from 8 to 5 but the management services firm takes pride in providing service and support as needed by PO$E clients on a 24-hour basis 7-days a week.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
In a meeting at one of our clients to review results of our new programs, the President remarked ........ WoW Joe, you "pose" a great opportunity for us to save money on both our outgoing and incoming freight, as-well-as helping us to improve our internal operations. From that moment on, our "nickname" was pronounced "PO$E", which is made up of the capital letters in our company name of ........ Profit Or $avings Enterprise.
