Recently, the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government purchased a Portable AV Flight Pack System powered by the NewTek TriCaster 460 and a TriCaster 8000 studio control suite from NPI Audio Visual Solutions and are extremely satisfied with both units. NPI not only has great products, but a dedicated team of professionals who sell, install, build and train the clients who purchase this equipment.
Sam Avellone's expertise and knowledge on what components to suggest for each system made the purchase easy, and allowed for future growth in both our live and studio productions. I really appreciated not only Sam's attention to detail, but also his understanding of the big picture on how we will use these two machines. While each of our TriCaster systems was being assembled, Sam made sure everything was installed perfectly and labeled clearly. Sam is a true professional who knows his craft and products exceptionally well. He delivered on every promise and I couldn't be more impressed.
When the TriCaster 8000 was delivered with its beautiful cabinetry, the engineers of Roger and Tyler Spitale traveled with it to complete the equipment installation process. I knew I was in great hands when Tyler commented on our TriCaster 460 fly package and mentioned he had helped work on the wiring inside the travel cases. The wiring Tyler and his brother had done on our 460 was so perfect that I've been showing it off to both my colleagues and my supervisor. Both Roger and Tyler's cabling is truly a work of art and the finished cabling work they did on our 8000 suite is equally as perfect.
What TriCasters can do is really quite impressive for their size and cost; it's a lot to comprehend. This is where James Lynch's knowledge and expertise of the TriCaster systems was so helpful. Please thank James for being here each time one of our systems was delivered and set up. James' work getting all the software registered and tested was very helpful. It's impossible to teach someone everything the TriCaster 460 and 8000 can do in one or two training classes, but James' patience and teaching provided
GTV3 with what we needed to know to get going with these systems immediately. James even gave me his cell phone and told me to call him if we had any other questions after he left Lexington.
With the new Tricaster 8000 suite, we also purchased a digital audio console. Please also pass along my thanks to Mike Carlton for making this new complex audio component easy for my staff to use and understand.
